Dr. Dan Khera-McRackan has been in private practice in Raleigh since 2009. He completed his Urology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and prior to that his Doctor of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He is a current member of Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and throughout his academic career was awarded various research and scholarship awards.

Dr. Khera-McRackan specializes in robotic and minimally invasive procedures for genitourinary cancers, no-scalpel vasectomy, and minimally-invasive procedures for prostate enlargement and kidney stones. He believes that many of the common health problems that we face can be alleviated with dietary and lifestyle modification, before resorting to prescriptions medications or surgery. Dr. Khera-McRackan takes a holistic approach to healing.

When not in the clinic or operating room, Dr Khera-McRackan is spending time with his family, reading, hiking or fly-fishing. “I love North Carolina, especially the area we call home. There is such an incredible diversity of people here and yet you still feel that everyone is connected to one another. I like that pace of life here still feels slow, despite our area’s rapid growth.”
