David Hollensbe, MD
David W. Hollensbe, M.D. was raised in Muncie, Indiana and graduated from Muncie Central High School. He attended Indiana University and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa honor fraternity. He earned his medical degree with highest distinction from Indiana University and was admitted to Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed two years of general surgery residency followed by four years of urology residency at Indiana University.
Dr. Hollensbe is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Urologic Association, the American Medical Association, the Indiana State Medical Association, and the Indianapolis Medical Society.
Dr. Hollensbe’s special interests are urologic oncology, particularly minimally invasive robotic surgery for prostate cancer using the da Vinci Surgical System. In addition to diagnosing and treating urologic malignancies, he is well trained and experienced in treating stone disease and general adult and pediatric urologic conditions.
