Paul Arnold, MD
He is Board Certified in Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgery. He is a national preceptor for Rezum (steam therapy for BPH). He is also specialized in the Greenlight Laser, Protouch laser and Holmium Laser. He has a special interest in minimally invasive treatment options and traveled to learn HIFU for localized prostate cancer in other countries prior to FDA approval. Dr. Arnold has been performing HIFU for over ten years and is one of the more experienced physicians in Florida offering HIFU for localized prostate cancer.
A native of Miami, Dr. Arnold graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Florida. He received his medical doctorate from the University of South Florida and in 2000, he completed his urologic and general surgery residency at The Ohio State University. He is credited with several publications such as: Extensive Sector Biopsy for Detection of Carcinoma of the Prostate and Strategies for Managing Upper tract Calculi in Young Children. He is active in research for many pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
Dr. Arnold has served as Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at Florida Hospital North Pinellas and has practiced at Urology Specialists of West Florida until the merger with Advanced Urology Institute in 2017, where he practices today. Dr. Arnold is married with three children. He is currently practicing out of offices in Palm Harbor, Fl.
